Wendell and Charo Mackie began Regional Medical Transport to provide the highest quality and the most compassionate specialty transportation service available while treating every client (and their families) with dignity and respect. We are committed to doing so in a safe, timely manner.

About the Owners
Wendell Mackie is the Chief Executive of Operations at Regional Medical Transport and has 30+years of private and 911 EMS Experience. Wendell went to college for Paramedic and Level II Firefighter, and in 2011, Wendell went back to get his EMS Instructor certification. He Is responsible for educating others as well as the employees within his company. Wendell has taught vocational school for 11 years.
Wendell currently lives in Camden with his wife, Charo, and together they have eight children and 2 grandchildren. He also takes pride in his community by serving on the city council. Wendell enjoys camping, woodworking and experimenting with cooking.
Charo Mackie is a Chief Executive of Administrative at Regional Medical Transport, with 34 years of EMS experience she became an EMT in 1999 in her hometown of Camden. For the past 10 years, Charo has worked in a public-school, teaching children with disabilities and behavior impediments. Charo’s passion is bringing resources to people who have experienced life indifference.
Charo is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Charo is challenged and encouraged daily by her husband and their eight children. In her free time, Charo enjoys camping, crafting and scrapbooking
